11 &12 months old

Ms Amelia is now 1 year old!! I can not even believe how quickly time has flown by. She is such a fun sweet little girl who is unimaginably determined. Now she is pottying in her potty chair about 4 times a day. As soon as we cheer for her….her hands either go up in the air for victory or they go into the pee pee stream (ewwww…but at least she knows why we are cheering and we are really proud of our pee pee queen lol. BTW, we are not potty training yet….more of a potty conditioning seems how she can’t even say “potty” yet. Nonetheless, she is doing quite dang well 
Let’s see….things she is doing new since last update…, she is now clapping, giving high fives and blowing kisses and giving ooey gooey open mouth sugars which are sweet and funny. She says “good gurl” and “go go” hard to distinguish between those two sometimes lol. She will grab the tv remote and say “Dorwa”. Yes, she LOVES dora and gets SUPER excited if she gets to watch her. She LOVES going to the park so we try to go at least 3-5 days a week. And, if we are not going to the park….you can bet we do a wagon ride around the neighborhood. She went to visit her grandparents in BR and to the zoo in Baton Rouge. Her favorite animal was the giraffe! Its head was down by the wagon and she was staring at it, when all of the sudden it lifted its head and startled her! She squealed and giggled all the while scanning up and up and up its body to finally see his head. She smiled so big 
She went to her BFF Gillian’s birthday party last month in Dallas and had a great time! She and Gillian dug in the ice chest. Amelia was trying to feed Gillibean ice it was so cute…until she was trying to feed her the ice that she had accidentally dropped in the dirt. They all played hard and Amelia passed smooth out not even 5 minutes after leaving while playing with pink toy dog Aunt Randa got her (note picture below….will have to click on older post) She also got to see Aunt Becca , God Grandparents Toni and Rod and her Uncles Tony and Michael and her cousins.
Easter was kinda dreary with the rainy weather but we all made the most of it. Aunt Chelsea and Uncle Nathan were there to celebrate as well as Auntie Sunni and Uncle Brandon and Mi Mi and Grandpa. Amelia and Marie had fun hunting Easter eggs in the living room (although Marie was the only one hunting them…and caught on quite well I must add….as for Amelia, she thought grabbing one plastic egg and gnawing on it was MUCH more fun lol) they had a good time playing while we had a blast hiding Easter Eggs within the house (most in difficult places) for the guys to find! The eggs contained numbers for prizes or lottery scratch offs it was kind of funny to watch them.
Her Birthday weekend was GREAT! It was a zoo theme and we had a small petting zoo consisting of baby bunnies, baby ducks and chicks. The kiddos seemed to really enjoy them as did the adults. Grandma and Pa Pa, Aunt Randa, Sydnie and Gillian, Aunt Rebecca, Great Aunt Co, Great God parents Toni and Rod all drove in town from the Dallas area to be there. And family and friends here in town came too. It was great! Amelia only paused for a few seconds while we were singing “Happy Birthday” before she dug into her smash cake. Now, when I say “dug into her smash cake” I mean it. She dug both hands in and kept on with it stuffing her face…it was hilarious! *PICTURES BELOW…will have to click on older post to see them all*
